Reminder: CAF sponsorship deadline coming soon!

Anyone who would like to be a sponsor, vendor, and advertiser please submit your forms soon. March 31st is the deadline for all submission forms. Forms can be found at http://clevelandasianfestival.org/2012/?page_id=22. We have different links for the various ways you can get involved. Find the link that pertains to you and follow the instructions on that page. All forms can be sent online or through mail. The address should be located on the form for anyone using the postal service.

Last year the Cleveland Asian Festival had over 31,000 attendees. We plan to distribute 15,000 program guides before and during the event. Each year the festival gets bigger so, naturally, we expect a bigger turn out. This year we have so many great performances planned that we have a tough time keeping them a secret! We hope you can get involved and add even more to the experience.

 

OCA Cleveland Chapter Sponsors Film at CIFF

OCA Cleveland Chapter is a proud community partner for the 36th annual Cleveland International Film Festival’s Chinese film Buddha Mountain (Guan Yin Shan). This is a story about aimless youth that live in troubled families who make bad choices, but find meaning in their journey. Show times are Friday, March 30th at 5pm and Saturday, March 31st at 9pm at Tower City Theaters. CWA of Cleveland Celebrates International Women’s Day

On Friday March 24th at 5pm the Chinese Women Association will celebrate International Women’s Day at Li Wah restaurant (2999 Payne Ave.).Tickets are $20 for food, entertainment, and a raffle. CWA website: http://chinesewomencleveland.org/2011/.

Asian Heritage Night at the “Q” When Cavs Host Knicks

Due to the excitement of Jeremy Lin the Cleveland Cavaliers will have Asian Heritage Night on Friday, April 20th when they host the New York Knicks. The game starts at 7:30 pm, but gates will open at 6pm for those who would like to watch the Cavs and Knicks practice close-up. Special offers and group rates are available for the event. MotivAsians Sponsors Film at CIFF

The non-profit organization MotivAsians proudly sponsors the filmSacrifice (Zhao Shi Gu Er) at the 36th annual Cleveland International Film Festival. Sacrifice is an adaptation of Orphan of Zhao and is story of jealousy and revenge.
